- Log in to your Google Business Profile (GMB) account.
- Click on “Edit profile”, then go to the Contact tab.
- In the Chat section, click the pencil or arrow to edit.
- In the dropdown menu, select WhatsApp.
- Add either your WhatsApp “click-to-chat” URL (format: https://wa.me/[country code][number], example for France: https://wa.me/33612345678)
- Click on Save to confirm the addition.

✅ Verification
- From a mobile device, search for your business on Google Search (the WhatsApp button is currently visible only on mobile, not on desktop or Maps).
- Verify that the WhatsApp button appears correctly on your profile.
- Test the opening: the button should launch a WhatsApp conversation correctly.
